The Emerging Scholars Program
The BMBH Emerging Scholars Program supports a group of early and mid-career investigators examining brain aging among Black men.
Scholar Program awardees receive opportunities to expand their research trajectories, connect with leading national scholars, and engage with local community organizations. Another key aspect of the BMBH Conference is to initiate a research registry for Black men’s brain health. This research fellowship program is a signature component of this Conference.
Each emerging scholar is expected to utilize community-based research methods to recruit at least 10 registry participants during their 15-month involvement with the program.
